About

A quiet place to grow

In my therapeutic work, I operate from a client-centered perspective and lean on tools from Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative techniques. In sessions that means that I have a collaborative approach to goal setting and session structuring. I support my clients as they find the balance between accepting the opportunities that life has given them and forging their own path. Together we can unpack old storylines and roles that used to be protective but are no longer serving you to make room for a new version of you moving forward. I received a BA in psychology from the University of San Diego along with minors in English and Philosophy. During my time in San Diego I also worked as a summer camp supervisor for the Y and a personal trainer at my campus gym. After graduating I made my way up to Seattle for the Masters in Couples and Family Therapy program at Seattle University. While completing my masters program I participated in a yearlong internship at a group practice where I gained firsthand experience working directly with children, families, couples, and individuals. When I'm not working you can often find me in the woods hiking or camping with my dog (Dakota). I also enjoy line dancing, reading, painting, and spending time with friends and family.
